Legendary UK imprint Sabres of Paradise revisits the second full-length from Two Lone Swordsmen. Originally released in 1996 on the heels of their first LP, Swimming Not Skimming finds the duo of Andrew Weatherall and Keith Tenniswood expanding on their patented blend of downtempo, techno and electro. ‘Azzolini and the Branch Brothers Meet Being’ and ‘In The Nursery Visit Glenn Street’ are thick with atmosphere and dubbed out production, while ‘Jakey in the Subway’ surges with old-school electro energy. Elsewhere, they crank out submerged hip-hop on ‘The Ob007 Mix’, minimal techno on ‘Rico Hellectro’, and slick house on ‘Glide By Shooting’ and ‘Flossie Wear Paco And Ralph’.
