Scottish techno rabble-rousers Calum Macleod and Liam Robertson follow a string of releases of their characteristically rough-hewn techno with a new project. …I Care Because You Don’t compiles 16 locally-sourced (apparently from their mates in Dundee, Perth and the surroundings areas) techno tracks that share the pair’s affinity for noise and hardcore. It’s a caustic listen as you might expect with their own contribution ‘Blood Skating’ setting the tone for the compilation with its rattling percussion and rolling bass.
