Well that’s quite a cover from, unsurprisingly, anonymous producer Man Power. As the EP’s punning title suggests, Man Power has produced a trio of listless, but by no means impotent, acid tracks for the follow-up to his debut released earlier this year. ‘Renamed’ takes a jacking 303 and slows it right down, while ‘Taronja’ uses marimba presets and a percussion scraper for a more tropical sound. ‘The Song With No Name’ is a more minimal cut, and perhaps the strangest track of the EP, with its sparse stabs of bass backed by echoing and panning vocals.
