Manchester club collective meandyou turn out their second release, following last year's The Palace EP with the Common EP. Four cuts here, with Aatropa & Tephillin providing their debut offering 'Bells Jam', a booming techno jam. The sporadically busy Fabric's 'Split Guest' is similarly ominous, with arpeggiated bleeps meeting unresolved chords. meandyou co-founder Sam Lewis steps up again as Herron, his '33 Weeks' glistening with frosty synth patterns. Metropolis (aka Sequencias man Nick Lapien) closes the release with the sparsely emotive chords of 'The Great Lake'. A successful outing that hints at greater victories in future.
