Following ‘The Beigeness’ and ‘Lonely Daze’, ‘Circles’ is the third single from Kate Tempest‘s Mercury-nominated debut album Everybody Down on Big Dada. Charming us with her London accident and honest poetic lyrics, ‘Circles’ happens outside the main narrative of the album, and touches upon more abstract themes such as truth and love. Dan Carey’s dynamic production compliments Tempest’s authentic rapping style. Both Mike Skinner, former of The Streets, and Micachu – who’s contributed music for the excellent soundtrack of Under The Skin – take on remix duties.
