New label One Day Wonder kicks into life with this two-tracker of party-starting rave. Capracara, who's already released on Soul Jazz, DFA and Unknown To The Unknown, knows how to take simple ideas and turn them into dance-floor gold. 'Fake Drukqs' is huge, its 90s piano lines crashing into crisp big room percussion and pinpoint laser drops. 'Blue Balloon' then features a hint of a hoover and some vocal snippets, all thrown together with some flanged-to-goodness synth action and cut-up spoken word.
