With Dutch electronic label EPM counting more than 30 releases in their catalogue, they dedicate their third ‘Selected’ compilation to the international remixes of their repertoire. Featuring techno monoliths such as Legowelt, Marcel Fengler or Silent Servant, EPM display an impressive array of reworks, focussing on Chicago and Detroit influenced dance music. Berlin’s Marcel Fengler imposes his Berghain-infused seriousness on Paul Mac’s ‘Hotel Insomnia’; Vince Watson works on the more melodious synth side of Kristian Heikilla’s ‘02’ and Silent Servant brings out the acid of Gow’s and Whitehead’s Vacant.
