Toronto tech-head Gingy is tapped by Clone Royal Oak for a killer vocal single. Interestingly, the producer waits until almost three minutes into ‘RAPT’ before dropping the strobe-lit melody that sure to make this tune a hit on dancefloors. By teasing out his synths over a reduced beat, he maximises the impact of the main drop, enhanced even more by a sterling diva vocal from Starving Yet Full. Label-mates Serge & Tyrell provide a pumping dub of the titular track, and Gingy follows with corroded-synth experiment ‘VSCUS’.
