Glasgow’s techno producer duo Slam return with their first single for their upcoming album on their own Soma imprint. The album will be based around different sequences, and ‘Pattern A3’ is a promising foretaste of what is to come. Derived from the Cirklon sequencer pattern, the acid, nerve-jangling touch of the single keeps our heads spinning. Remixes come from Argentina’s Jonas Knopp who takes back the synth power and turns up the volume on the bass drum and the hi-hats. Swedish Bleak focuses on fragmented details and young French producer Charles Feckler strips down the original to a proper plain techno banger.
