Bruce Haack
Electric Lucifer : Song Book II
Telephone Explosion
Catalogue Number
Release Date
September 10, 2014

Canadian synth pioneer Bruce Haack is one of electronic music’s unsung legends, his weird and ahead-of-his-time synth experiments only receiving the recognition they deserve after his death in 1988. Since then a number of his records from the 1970s have been reissued, including this sequel to his greatest work, The Electric Lucifer Book. A psychedelic outsider classic of synthesiser symphonies, funky vocoder and biblical references, The Electric Lucifer Book II remained unreleased until 2001. For this latest reissue on Telephone Explosion, the album has been given all new cover art more befitting of its surreal contents.
