Bok Bok of London label Night Slugs and Amsterdam-based Tom Trago of Voyage Direct team up once again for a lean and focused 12" release that uses the sparest of elements to create maximum dance-floor impact. 'Get Me What You Want' is a dusty piece of Jersey influenced house, whistles and bright, colourful stabs ricocheting through the analogue crackle. 'Pussy Trak' rattles along on a twisted and turned upside down Junior Vasquez sample propelled forward on brittle drums and heaving kicks. 'Silent G Safari' is also explosive, crisp, snapping rhythms that groove hard with tense physicality. 'Hole Driller 3' is harder, a slice of contorted robotic electro. The pair mine a deep and hypnotic house groove on 'Need This', a slinky production with plenty of low-end weight and helicopter blade arps keeping things deftly churning over. The '12" Dub' sees them tackling a leaner version of the track, a steamy, brilliantly oppressive piece of dubbed out club music.
