Finders Keepers treat us to another fine find, previously unreleased library works from Italian composers Alessandro Alessandroni and Giuliano Sorgini, collectively known as Braen Raskovich. Fans of the label and their seedy archived sonics will know what to expect. Originally commissioned for Italian television and film, the sounds compiled here range from the sleazy, flute-led funk of ‘Cattura’ to high-strung piano and scraped guitar on ‘Braccio Della Morte’. Elsewhere, there’s Spanish flavoured guitar on ‘La Mala’, western-tinged hand percussion on ‘Indagine Notturna’ and, on ‘Premeditazione’, the sort of dissonant woodwinds you’d only hear in a Giallo flick.
