Another debut from Bristol based label Don’t Be Afraid, following on from their well-received introductions to Detroit’s MGUN and Finish producer Halvtrak. Glasgow’s CEOL are made up of Sub Club resident Domenic Cappello and Lee Duncan. Their debut “12 very much belongs to a lineage of moody Glawegian techno. Opener ‘The Light’ features swathes of synth backed by melancholic MIDI strings. While on ‘D3’, an arpeggiating bassline rises and falls over a dense ambient atmosphere.
