Ohio based musician James Donadio makes his debut on Night School with Nouveauree, following on from two well-received releases on Digitalis and Spectrum Spools. Donadio specialises in noise and industrial influenced techno on the abrasive side, but here he manages outdo himself with the pummelling bass of ‘Hate’s in the City’ and the punishing kick drum of ‘So Goddamn Gaunt’. ‘Punk In The Street’ is perhaps Donadio most testing experiment yet with its blaring air horn and frenetic percussion.
