Ekoplekz (aka Nick Edwards) has had a prolific 2014, dropping a career-defining album earlier in the year only to follow it up with the excellent sequel Four Track Mind months later. His latest release is a long-promised EP for West Norwood Cassette Library of psychedelic club constructions. ‘Sarkaztik’ sets the tone for an EP of weird twisted electronics. ‘Dropkone’, likewise, could be the soundtrack to some otherworldly dancefloor, with its uncanny popping sound effect and wobbling bass.
