Bristol newcomer Bruce drops the aptly titled Just Getting Started / Tilikum on his local label made good Livity Sound offshoot dnuoS ytiviL. 'Just Getting Started' is a thunderous effort, all rattling drums and squelching bleeps while syncopated bass kicks go off in the dance, one to really get lost in out on the floor. 'Tilikum' is housier affair, with chunky low-end synths that seem to bounce around around a thick, viscous percussion line, perfect for building tension and momentum. This lad will go far, we think.
