Following dynamite archive releases on Bureau B and m=minimal, Seattle’s Further Records issues another vital, previously unreleased Conrad Schnitzler LP. Recorded at a London performance in 1972, this is the real deal, a document of the analogue-god at the height of his powers. The far-reaching sounds he creates range from pulsating proto-techno and dub to beatless synth explorations, from frenzied and rhythmic to dark and meditative. Schnitzler displays a characteristic fearlessness, stretching his loops and ideas to their conclusion, and often beyond.
