London’s Slime Recordings fortify their brand with another strong comp, this one with an interesting twist. Each track on Move Your Mind is a collaboration between two artists from the label’s extensive extended family. Akin and Sker debut their Opeik project with hazy electronica opener ‘After The Rain’. Aaron Static and Clima team for the slinky ‘Synthetic Climate’, while Hoffman and Materia contribute throbbing dubstep cut ‘For You I Did’. Elsewhere, Retrospekt and Platkovsky enlist vocalist Athena Efstathiou for deep-house killer ‘Rain’, and Bodwan and Burnie serve up fractured 4/4 for the dancers on ‘Petra’s Groove’.
