Blank tapes are a label come up with the diy goods once again, with a roster that includes Bass Clef and the weird and wonderful Scatter, Spring Tides fit in very tidily. The music here is a mix of African Highlife inspired drums and bass with a kind of freeform post rock sensibility and some discrete electronics and a bit of krautrock's motortonik energy. The songs on this ep are a mixture of instrumental and proper songs with lyrics, there is also a subtle and rather lovely mix by Joe from Hot Chip of their song 'No More Mornings'
