Delroy Edward’s LA Club Resource imprint continues to tread its own path, here hitting its seventh release with a debut release from Vereker’s new Zipcode alias. Utilising the opportunity under a new guise to explore more challenging sonic territory, Zipcode soundtracks the apocalypse with the first three untitled cuts, drawing on extended slices of ominous aural dread with a callous industrial coating. For the final piece ‘Untitled 04’, a steady stomp is finally bled through, accompanied by some hopping, steely delay and all-American sound bytes.
