From Medical Records comes the debut full-length from Kline Coma Xero, the minimal wave project from one-man synth band Tony Williams. Owing an obvious debt to early 80’s electronic pioneers like Clock DVA and Martin Dupont, Williams still manages to make some headway and establish himself as more than just a simple revivalist. Highlights include the infectiously catchy hook and melody on ‘Rewind’, the mechanized groove of ‘The Fanatic’, Williams' icy synth work on proto-techno cut ‘Photo Falling’ and the strobe-lit arpeggios of ‘Darkroom’.
