Berlin-based producer Recondite returns to Scuba’s Hotflush with two tracks of hypnotic, tough techno. Two years after putting out his hit ‘DRGN’, he resumes his straight-forward, intelligible style that sits perfectly in Germany’s capital. Clean-sounding, aquatic arpeggios make out the narrative of the EP’s title track, his spaced out, oscillating synths slowly building up their infectious effect. The b-side ‘DRGN 2’ is a sequel to his 2012 banger, continuing with its sincere stomping on the dance floor mission.
