Released via Innovative Leisure, the self-titled Khun Narin's Electric Phin Band LP is the final manifestation of an extended, globe-trotting journey from LA music producer John Marcy. Originally discovering the group through stray youtube clips, Marcy managed to track the group through utilisation of social media, local Thai interpreters and a vast amount of determination. The constantly rotating Thai ensemble creates a synapses-singeing concoction of psychedelia through a vast array of traditional instruments and effects pedals all recorded with the aid of copious amounts of alcohol with the odd foreign cover thrown in for good measure.
