Berlin-based imprint m=minimal, perhaps best known for their excellent Conrad Schnitzler reissues and remixes, strut out their stable of artists for their first definitive compilation. Label-head Christian Borngräber pops up thee times, once solo on gorgeous, piano-led opener ‘Time Teller’ and twice with co-founder Jens Strüver, on sleazy synthscape ‘Reise’ and the operatic, Ennio Morricone-influenced ‘Wellen’. Electro-quirk trio Denseland contribute the characteristically kooky ‘Connected’, while Andreas Reihse’s amazing extended instrumental ‘Der lange Weg Nach Düsseldorf’ and Ernstalbrecht Stiebler’s orchestral ‘Schwebend’ round out the collection nicely.
