Another of Mute’s reissues of Can’s incredible back catalogue. Out of Reach, originally released in 1978, documents a period in which the band’s lineup and sound were in a state of flux. It has remained a controversial piece of work since its release, only much later given the recognition it deserves by the band. Out of Reach is also one of Can’s most diverse records, featuring experiments with jazz, disco and Latin music as well as the bizarre soft rock of ‘Give Me No Roses’.
