From Joker’s groundbreaking Kapsize imprint comes the latest from Bristol-based duo Asa and Sorrow. Bass-heads need not fear; the pair cram their slick productions with enough low-end to satisfy even the fussiest fans. They lead with ‘Untitled’, a neck breaker overflowing with melodic vocal chops and splashy, tropical-flavoured synths. ‘Titan’ couldn’t be more different, a rough and rugged throwback to Kapsize’s ’09 glory days. ‘Shook’ employs militaristic synth strings and ear-popping drum work, while the explosive ‘Legendary’ plays like the soundtrack to a frenetic chase scene, complete with gun clicks and menacing vocals.
