With their latest release, Norwegian disco and house label Full Pupp display more local talent from the Northern hemisphere. Oslo-based Oyvind Morken is no newbie to the label: Full Pupp have housed his minimal arrangements on a few occasions before, and once again label boss Prins Thomas takes up mastering duties himself. On the Gnagsar I Hjernen EP, Oyvind Morken resumes his airy production style. His percussion sounds exceptionally dry throughout the release, the rubbery synths sticking well to these dehydrated beat skeletons. An accomplished combination.
