While the work of Muslimgauze has survived and outlived its creator Bryn Jones, there yet remains uncovered elements and projects. Unleashed here by Staalplaat, who have tirelessly brought his work to the fore, is a collection of unorganised and untitled tracks found in the vaults. Recorded between 1994 and 1995, this collection of tracks evokes the sound of the east, as ever is the case with Jones, yet the crystalline sonics are at once club-worthy and reverent, a swathe of electronic hiss hovering over sacred percussion.
