Jennifer Cardini’s Correspondant Music imprint brings the heat with their latest sun-soaked compilation EP, courtesy of an international stable of producers. Spain’s Undo leads off and sets the tone perfectly with ‘3.9 Grados en la Escala Richter‘, a simmering house cut fuelled by churning 303s and a beefy bass line. Equally entrancing are Paresse’s slow-burning ‘Phantoms Are Waltzing’ and Offset’s gaudy, tropical-inspired ‘Retro Future’. Mexican selector Iñigo Vontier provides the robotic synth grooves on ‘Motor’, and Milan’s Brioski proudly flies his Italo disco flag on ‘Sunday Morning’.
