DJ and producer K15 readies his second release for WotNot Music with the classy, soul-tinged Bordeaux EP. Tones of jazz and soul underpin the whole release with the sophisticated house cut ‘Bordeaux’ getting things underway, gradually adding nifty chord progressions and woozy synth patterns for something as classy as a Floating Points release. The next cut ‘Hall Of Memories’ is much more submerged, with lonely piano chords lingering in the background and ravage chords on top. For remixes, Kaidi Tatham reinterprets ‘Bordeaux’ into a tighter, refined swinging groove whereas Glenn Astro & IMYRMIND’s remix of the same takes a chunkier route with a Funkinevil-esque live jam feel.
