Most recent interest in Lunice recently has focused on his collaborative TNGHT project with Hudson Mohawke, but this new single on LuckyMe is a powerful reminder of just how potent the Montreal producer's blend of rap and electronic music can be when working solo. 'Can't Wait To' is a track built from headstrong sub kicks and haunting choral synth work, all darkly rolling bass palpitations and cutting drum patterns. It's a monster of a track to be sure, but a tense and moody one that grows in strength as it rolls on.
