Manchester duo Demdike Stare return for the fifth offering on their diverse Test Pressing series. In a run that has so far seen original takes on Chicago house, jungle and harsh noise, the fifth addition is a two-pronged beast of sparse, corrosive distillations and nihilistic no-wave edits. The A-side boasts ‘Procrastination’, an industrial grade arrangement with weighted bass throbs and brittle rim shots whereas B-side cut ‘Majesty’ is closer to something from I.B.M’s Medusa re-edit series with its perpetual drum drive and contorted synth fuzz.
