Another edition of the Autonomous Africa series, created by Optimo co-founder JD Twitch back in 2012. All proceeds from the series are being used to raise funds for the support of development initiatives in African countries. For the third instalment, Twitch is joined by Auntie Flo, General Ludd and Midland for more African-inspired club music. The latter steps up with percussive workout ‘Safi’ and the General delivers a track that ripples with heavily processed string presets. For his contribution, Twitch uses African polyrhythms as a backing to waves of cosmic synths on the mystical sounding ‘Maya’.
