Something a bit special here from The City Of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra: an extensive recording of 25 cult TV themes - from Doctor Who, to Thunderbirds, to The Addams Family, to Captain Pugwash. The Orchestra, which became fully privatised following the Velvet Revolution of 1992, are famous for their film scoring work (David Lynch used them for both Lost Highway and Mulholland Drive), and take part in about 200 recordings every year. This collection has them performing TV classics with invigorating style, bringing to light the great compositional skill many of the best known TV themes are built from. It's also a lot of fun.
