Barcelona-based producer Gabriel Berlanga aka Undo debuts on the Canadian electronic music label My Favorite Robot Records. On Aimia EP, he displays his instinct for tuneful, gloomy house music. ‘Aima’ is dominated by assertive bass synths, straightforward percussion and mournful cut-up vocals which are warped by Maurice Aymard in his remix. ‘Lost With You’ continues with the incessant string-like sound over an acid line of notes, creating a dreamy atmosphere, and ‘Out There’ nods at disco with its pleasingly nasal arpeggios.
