Gordon Chapman-Fox has generously detailed the blueprints that make up his Warrington-Runcorn New Town Development Plan project in just a handful of years, and Appendix I collects three EPs that have expanded the limits of his sonic architectures. Building A New Town largely focusses on wistful acoustic cinematics, with long anticipatory stretches of organ colouring guitar led folk and psychedelia, while A Shared Senses Of Purpose and Overspill Estates further draw upon progressive synthwave ambience, with tension addled synths amplified by Vince Clarke and minimal yet punchy rhythms.
