Bill Youngman makes his triumphant return to Killekill with Levitate, his first plate for the label since 2012. Youngman has a few new tricks up his sleeve, namely the 2-step infected swing he infuses two of the three tracks with. 'Levitate' is the most rigid and traditional, a dub techno banger fortified with colossal kicks, ocean deep sub bass and icy FX. ‘Teardrop Turns To Solid’, on the other hand, is a knotty mix of drums beats and surging synth pads that’s equal parts UK hardcore and Chicago juke. Closer ‘Magnetic’ hits with similar intensity, swapping synths for metallic stabs.
