Gang of Ducks secure themselves a supergroup: One Circle are an Italian trio consisting of Vaghe Stelle, Presto?! Records founder Lorenzo Senni and soundtrack composer Francesco Fantini aka A:RA. Transparency is the follow-up EP to 2012’s Flight To Forever. The group’s experimental electronic sound merges the practices of its individual members - while the first half of the EP is based around trap beats, zoned out trance synths and sharp hi-hats, ‘Alien Rave’ moves within a techno framework, delving into polyrhythmic confusion. The closer’s banging electro chorus shows the trio’s talent for effortlessly fusing elements that might at first seem incompatible.
