Airhead marks an abrupt change in musical direction with a club-focused, high-emotion EP for 1-800-Dinosaur. Whereas his album For Years was more about introspection, title track 'Believe' sees him running with a strident dance floor stomp and all-hands-in-the-air vocal sample to devastating effect. 'Shirin' is grimey in flavour, filled with heavy-hitting bass and digital scree, while 'Shekure' is a punchy, stripped production that's like a grainier version of something you would expect from the Night Slugs camp. 'Hundred Years' meanwhile rounds things off with some syrupy hip hop mysticism. A real surprise, and we're hoping this marks a turning point for the producer.
