Recollection GRM gather four pieces from the GRM archives, recorded between 1975 and 1979 by Charles Clapaud, Janez Mati?i?, Servio Tulio Marin, and Eugeniusz Rudnik. Following in the footsteps of the previous ‘Traces’ releases, it uncovers work forgotten or ignored. Chaotic sound and deep tones define Clapaud’s ‘Ruptures’, fragmented forms and sudden closures lending an air of obtuse confusion. Twisted sequential developments are at the heart of Janez Mati?i?’s ‘Hypnos (extrait de Trois Visions)’, all blurry visions and half-forgotten memories. Servio Tulio Marin’s ‘Impresiones Fugitivas’ is built of interruption and dialogue, while the six fragments of Eugeniusz Rudnik’s Moulin Diabolique’ is a treatment on military and the never-ending cycle of war.
