Berlin-based UK DJ and producer Mark Henning drops four tracks of booming deep house and techno on this, the first outing on his very own Swing Recordings. The long-standing purveyor of club music teams up with the mysterious Parisian Dejan for two tracks on this release, the echoey title track and the relentlessly energetic ‘Exit Acid’. ‘James Hughes Blues’ is a deep and rolling number leading off with modulated basslines set against unresolved syncopated synth stabs. ‘The Horror’ is the deepest affair here, throwing 80s funk vocals against suitably haunting bass.
