Paris producer Remain crafts some hard-hitting house tools on his second release for Montreal imprint My Favorite Robot Records. The dark-edged ‘Bounty Hunting’ manages to menace and groove, combining buzzing synths and clanging FX with slick bass and a ridiculously crisp kick/snare combo. ‘Filthy Stitches’ is a more rigid, robotic affair, complete with surging synth lines and metallic vocals from Monoblok. Also included is a pair of remixes. Spanish producers Carreno is LB & Javi Redondo contribute an 808-heavy rework of ‘Bounty Hunting', while Brazilian duo Click Box crank the laser-light show vibes on their take on the title track.
