50 Weapons regular Addison Groove returns to the German imprint with another collection of bass-heavy, floor-destroying configurations collectively housed as the Turn Up The Silence EP. The opening cut ‘Dat Ass’ unloads maximal seismic vibrations, crisp claps and encouraging vocal snips for something that’ll work the ‘floor whilst following surgical Chicago cut up ‘U Been Gone’ features the late DJ Rashad. Flipping over we find the more dub-wise, nostalgia-laced ‘Push It’ with its vintage chords and insistent bass undercurrent whereas final cut ‘Masamune’ is an atmospheric take on quirky, reductionist drum and bass.
