Here's one from the vaults, as Fly By Night Music unleashes some gorgeous early house from Rheji Burrell. Untitled save for a number, these are two warm, lustrous workouts, a real treat for house heads. Muscular percussion and gorgeous synth characterises '#2', as live kick-fills and dancing basslines take over throughout. '#4' is a more staid affair, featuring rattling toms and guitar that evokes summer nights and lost love. The Rimshooters are on hand to take '#2' to the skies, transforming its melancholy airs in favour of an ethereal dance style, its simple riff enhanced by a sea of strings.
