UK producer submerse readies his debut LP Slow Waves following a series of releases on Berlin imprint Project Mooncircle, Apollo and Maltine Recordings. It’s Project Mooncircle who handle this outing, with the release expanding on the lush, grainy beats of his previous material. Opener ‘Let’s Never Come Back Here Again’ builds on a light, chiming sample with loose beats letting the cut flow like water with following pieces ‘Math’ And ‘Snorlax’ both flaunting similar tranquil, beat laden textures. Equal parts nostalgic and personal, Slow Waves is a multi-layered collection of highly detailed and emotionally rich hip-hop instrumentals that’ll only grow in stature over time.
