After more than a decade’s worth of singles, EP’s and remixes, Amsterdam based producer/ M>O>S Recordings founder Aroy Dee finally releases his debut full-length. Sketches, an expansive, accomplished set, is well worth the wait, and Dee’s sci-fi influenced techno soundscapes have never sounded better. Gorgeous ambient opener ‘Night Sky’ leads into ‘Pure’, an emotive slice of minimal tech that's quickly counteracted by the nervous energy and choppy drum work of ‘Decay’. Elsewhere, the filtered throb and stargazing synths of ‘Descent’ and the airy ‘Afterlife’ are as lush as anything we’ve heard from the Dutch sound technician.
