London house producer Retrospekt teams up with Polish producer Platkovsky on the sterling Faded EP, released via the ever excellent Slime Recordings. The EP is a first rate collection of visceral and hedonistic, yet impeccably executed and tasteful house, and the EP as a whole is perfectly tailored to filling floors with gusto. Highlights include the almost pop like pronounced synth lines of 'Faded' that expertly collide with the hard hitting drum work, and the sublimely restrained bounce and ice cool ambiance of 'Hvn'.
