London producer South London Ordnance's Contact EP is released through the very reputable Scuba's Hotflush Recordings. This EP represents the up and coming producer's most refined take to date on his singular and minimalistic approach to visceral techno; his cerebral and monochromatic music is as suited to bedroom listening as it is to dance floor abandon. Contact is remarkably consistent and energy levels remain at fist pumping highs throughout its runtime, yet the stark texture of the tracks does enough to keep things suitably intense and unpredictable.
