Genres
ADMX-71, the conceptual project of industrial artist Adam X, turns in the Redacted EP on L.I.E.S. a real proto-techno workout. 'Disentangle Me' is all rattling percussion and acid wobble, an awkward groove offsetting glaring synth lines and a snarling racket of bass. 'Strife Within' is similarly jagged, harsh synths and buzzing blasts of sound leading the way. 'Cryptic Language' is the most unwelcoming of the three, imagining as it does a murky netherworld, a post-apocalyptic landscape of sound.
