OpenLab is an Ibizan radio station founded by Italian producer Robert Miles, specialising in soulful electronic music that is perfectly in line with the eclectic Bealeric spirit. OpenLab Morning Vol.1 is their first commercially available mix, mixed with considerable skill by Miles himself. This pleasingly smooth yet catchy mix features such artists as Flying Ibex, Kendra Morris, and Jono McCleery amongst many noted others. While much on offer here stays low key, things are kicked up a notch at strategic times, with a real highlight being the propulsive energy of Midlake's 'The Old and the Young'.
